I am at a function and I see my ex lover there. We think of going on a quick walk for a catch up. While walking we land near a datk sea., there is a bridge that we are walking on and the water level is touching the bridge. We hear people calling from the function to come back. Now we need to cross a small patch or jump over a small patch of sea to get to the other side. My ex jumps and I follow but fail and land up in the sea., quickly coming back to the surface saving myself. Suddenly I see on the other side for an option and realise that side the sea has dried up and I can get down sliding down the bridge poll. We start walking back to the function dwelling on how life is going on. When we reach there we are greeted by giving a bringal as part of the ritual
Dreams about ex-lovers often evoke strong emotions and can signify unresolved feelings, nostalgia, or reflections on past relationships. Here’s a breakdown of the elements in your dream and their potential meanings:
Function and Meeting Your Ex: Being at a function suggests a social context where you are reflecting on your connections. Encountering your ex may symbolize unfinished business or a desire for closure regarding that past relationship.
The Walk and the Dark Sea: Walking with your ex indicates a journey together, perhaps suggesting that you are both processing your shared past. The dark sea can represent uncertainty or emotional depth, implying that there may be lingering feelings or complexities surrounding your relationship.
The Bridge: Bridges often symbolize transitions or connections between different states of being. The fact that the water level is high suggests emotional turbulence or potential risks in crossing into new territories in your life.
Hearing Calls to Return: This reflects the pull of your current life, responsibilities, or relationships. It suggests that while you may feel tempted to revisit the past, there are other aspects of your life calling for your attention.
Jumping and Falling: Jumping over the patch of sea symbolizes taking risks or making significant decisions. Failing and landing in the sea may represent fears of failure or feeling overwhelmed by emotions. However, surfacing quickly demonstrates resilience and the ability to cope with challenges.
Dried-Up Sea: The realization of a dried-up sea indicates a shift in perspective. It suggests that there are easier paths to take or that you may have moved past the emotional turmoil of your relationship more than you realized. Sliding down the bridge pole could symbolize venturing into a new phase of your life with less resistance.
Walking Back and Life Going On: This reflects acceptance and acknowledgment that life continues despite past relationships. It signifies growth and moving forward.
Receiving a Brinjal (Eggplant): The brinjal can be symbolic of nourishment and abundance, but it can also represent something that may seem undesirable or unappealing at first. This part of the dream could suggest that through this reflection on your past, you are receiving new insights or opportunities that might not have initially seemed attractive.
Overall, this dream seems to reflect a journey of emotional introspection regarding your past relationship. It suggests that while you may still have feelings about it, you are learning to navigate your present life and recognize opportunities for growth and new beginnings.
